chose the Raspberry Hard Seltzer with Morgan’s help. Its nice raspberry flavor quickly made me a fan of hard seltzer. At his first sip, my companion said, “This tastes good!” about the Locke Mountain Lager, which the beer listing describes as a “refreshing and highly drinkable beer” brewed with 100 percent Pilsner malt. After finishing all four beers in the sampler, he proclaimed it his favorite, although the Imperial Amber Lager, which he said lager lovers would really like, was a close second.

Time to head out on the trail again and finish getting my River Rat Brew Trail Passport stamped. Of course, it also had been a few weeks since my last trek and my beer-drinking companions were starting to whine about when we were going to go again! First on the list wasMarzoni’s BrickOven&Brewing Co. over in Selinsgrove. Grabbing a couple seats at the bar, we quickly enlisted the aid of our bartender, Morgan, in deciding what to sample first.
