dear friend in Wisconsin. Coming soon to their collection is an International Harvester refrigerator made in Australia that runs on kerosene. The chapter only knows of five of these units in the United States. Additionally, there are hundreds of pieces of Harvester memorabilia and about 40 tractors and IH implements housed in their building for everyone to see. The International Harvester Red Power Showdown is an event like no other. People from everywhere come with their antique farm equipment and anything International Harvester. There will be vendors who sell parts, folks displaying their trophy machinery, food, music, and competitions. Chapter 17, headed by Ben Trapani, has hosted these events before and knows how to make it a success. In 2014, they hosted a Red Power Showdown, and in 2019, his chapter hosted the 30th National Red Power Round-Up which thousands of people attended. So, if you are in the area this June, stop by the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds and get your RED on! While there, enjoy the music, have some lunch, and look for Pappy’s Tractor. •
