Knoebels Amusement Resort musement Resort

Welcome to Knoebels Amusement Resort! You may be familiar with the Knoebels that features over 60 rides, award-winning food, its own waterpark, dozens of games and gift shops, hundreds of campsites, a golf course and so much more. But did you know it all started with a swimming hole? Roaring Creek, which still runs through the park today, was a popular summer spot in 1925, the same year Henry Knoebel had an idea that would define family fun for years to come. He began construction, and on July 4, 1926, Henry opened Knoebels as a large swimming pool where the Crystal Pool is today. Within that opening year, he added a restaurant and steam-powered carousel, and Knoebels hasn’t stopped evolving since. The hub for fun, food and fantasy continued to grow into the park people know and love today. For 98 years, Knoebels has been dedicated to its family-friendly beginnings by providing free admission, free parking, free entertainment and free picnic facilities. With rides and games for kids of all ages (and the kids at heart), the Knoebel family will help your family make lasting memories for generations! There’s so much fun to be had that it can’t all be contained to the summer season! Knoebels is open the last weekend in April through the last weekend in September, followed by spooky Hallo-Fun weekends in October and the park’s newest seasonal special through December. Joy Through the Grove, Knoebels drive-through Christmas light experience, is open nightly after Thanksgiving.
